The name and the motto
骐 (qí) is a fine horse; 霁 (jì) is the clear sky after rain.
Together, 骐霁 is pronounced exactly like 奇迹 — the Chinese word for miracle.
骐骥不舍，光风霁月
Relentless work, delivered clear.
The first half comes from the Xunzi, “Encouraging Learning”: a thoroughbred’s single leap
covers less than ten paces, while a plough horse gets there in ten days — because it does not stop.
The second is Huang Tingjian’s phrase for a clear character: like the wind and moon after rain.
The miracles we deal in do not fall from the sky. We listen, we design, we build — and we would like to add one small miracle at a time.
